Congratulations! I love little boys! A little part of me is totally jealous you get another boy. Lincoln is going to be a great big brother!

About Me

My name is Heather and this is a blog all about pregnancy! I am a mormon mommy to a four-year-old boy Lincoln and an 18-month old boy Maverick. My births were completely different, and I cherish the memories and excitement each one brought. Lincoln was a planned induction a week before his due date; my water was broken and I didn't need Pitocin, although I was given it for a short 30-minutes. I labored for 12 easy but very scary hours. He was whisked away after birth when a hole in his heart was found in an ultra-sound taken during labor. Maverick was born 8 days early. I labored at home for the majority of it and arrived to the hospital dilated to a 9. It was incredibly painful and each contraction crippled me! I got the epidural and calmly delivered him with only three pushes. I got to breastfeed him and bond with him before he was cleaned or measured.

I LOVE being pregnant and decided to create a blog to share with people who are interested or curious about pregnancy. Being a mom is the best blessing ever, and I am excited to have two little monsters running around. Being healthy, active and positive during pregnancy is essential in having the perfect pregnancy! Almost everyone can enjoy the miracle of a growing baby if you have the right attitude. Labor is unpredictable and no matter what happens, it is fun to share the story of bringing a life into this world.
